“We have actively reconciled aggrieved members,” Ganduje stated, adding, “These efforts are steadily strengthening the party’s unity.”

Breaking tradition, he announced the APC now inaugurates governorship campaign councils within their respective states, not Abuja.

Explaining the shift, he stated decentralizing campaigns fulfills the party’s promise to empower grassroots stakeholders directly.

“Our people-centred approach ensures local members lead elections,” Ganduje emphasized, underlining the APC’s renewed focus on inclusivity.

“Instead of the usual practice of inaugurating national campaign governorship councils of states in Abuja, the campaign councils are inaugurated in the affected states to allow for more and greater participation of party members and other stakeholders in their respective states.”
