The Chief Executive Officer of Panic Alert Security Systems (PASS), Dr. George Uboh has formally sought permission from the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister for Justice, Abubakar Malami.

In the application attached below, Dr. Uboh is seeking permission to prosecute all Economic and Financial Crimes Commission [EFCC] chairpersons both past and present.

See the application:

George Uboh seeks AGF fiat to prosecute Ribadu, Waziri, Lamorde, Magu, Access Bank for 1.99 trillion theft

The affected EFCC chairpersons are:

1. Mallam Nuhu Ribadu,

2. Mrs. Farida Waziri,

3. Mr. Ibrahim Lamorde,

4. The incumbent acting chairman, Mr. Ibrahim Magu,

5.  As well as Access Bank.

Dr. Uboh is accusing the five mentioned of stealing 1.993 Trillion Naira.

The AGF is expected to give Uboh the required fiat to prosecute or state the reason for declining within 15 days.

However, if for any reason the AGF fails to accede to the sought-for fiat to enable him to prosecute pursuant to section 383/384 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act (ACJA), 2016, then Uboh will have no option than to approach any court of competent jurisdiction to enforce the right to prosecute.

Earlier in the day, Mr. Uboh had approached the Federal High Court with a similar application [see attached down below] and sought a similar permission to prosecute the said persons.

The assigned judge, however, refused to adjudicate on the matter on the pretext that the applicant did not follow due process.

The refusal prompted the applicant to, with alacrity, forward the application to AGF Malami who has 15 days to accept to prosecute or deny same within the allotted time.
