
Governor Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow of Adamawa state, for the past four days along side his nineteen Northern state Governors counter parts have been deliberating on the issue of Reconstruction, Resettlement and Reconciliation of the people of North Eastern part of Nigeria, to the United States Institute of Peace (USIP) in Washington DC.
Recall that Boko Haram have caused a lots of havoc in the entire North Eastern region of the country, killed and leaving thousands of people homeless in the region.
Bindow is one of the discussants richly dwelled on the extend of damage done by Boko Haram to the entire Northern East, rendering the economy of the states into a lifeless stage.
While intimating the official of USIP, Bindow said the states of Adamawa, Maiduguri and Yobe are badly ravaged by the activities of the insurgents, therefore the serious need for the Reconstructing, the destroyed social amenities , Houses, Companies and places of worship.
He continued to say the government of Nigeria through the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari is really trying to settle back the thousands of people chased out of their communities.
He told USIP to equally come in and help Nigeria to find ways of resettling the thousands of the Internally displaced persons (IDPs scattered across, many states in the country and neighboring communities of Cameron, Niger Republic and Central Africa.
According to him so many people were innocently blamed and accused of being part of the deadly Boko Haram group and are left in the unresettled communities for fear of being killed by angered people.
At the meeting Gov. Bindow highly talk about the need of the reconciliation which will be constituted by a high power delegation by a reputable members of both the Christian and Muslim religion.
The visit is expected to yield positive results in solving the problems, Boko Haram brought to villages in the whole of Northern region.
