Gov Ikpeazu floods Abia State with fully fitted police cars

Published

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, in a bid to ensure safety of fellow Abians this yuletide season, has flooded the state with police cars fully fitted with communication and monitoring gadgets for urban patrols.

The event was captured in the statement below by a close aide of the governor, Mr. John Okiyi Kalu:

Do not worry about your safety this yuletide season if you wish to spend it in Abia.

The man you elected to govern the state is doing things to make the state safe for you.

He bought these modern police cars fully fitted with communication and monitoring gadgets for urban patrols.

Zenith bank “retaliated” by donating 5 Toyota hilux patrol vans for mostly rural patrols.

He is also actively procuring surveillance cameras to electronically monitor flash points as well as fixing key inner city roads at Aba. Ask your friends and family at Aba, if in doubt.

Steadily we will renew Aba and make it the number one commercial destination in Africa. Support your Governor with prayers, payment of taxes and good conduct.

Arrest anyone who throws “dorty” into the street or gutters.

Soon, the government will release the new short digit emergency contact code number for you to report suspicious characters and crimes.

O ga adiriri nma…

His Anambra State counterpart, Willie Obiano carried out a similar feat with the launching of 25 police cars in Awka, the state capital on Friday.
