(DDM) – Abia State Governor Alex C. Otti joined Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Emmanuel Ihuoma Emeruwa, and top Nollywood actors at the Aba Town Hall on Sunday, 23 November 2025, for the official launch of the “Aba Made” film project titled The Chronicles of Enyimba City.

He noted that the project seeks to showcase Aba’s spirit, energy, and ingenuity, capturing the bustling artisan workshops, the resilience of its residents, and its historic identity as Enyimba City.
Rt. Emeruwa expressed excitement at welcoming Nollywood actors back to Aba, many of whom had nurtured their early artistic dreams in the city.
He assured attendees that Aba continues to be a hub for creativity and artistic expression.
The Speaker also highlighted the Abia State Government’s commitment to creating an enabling environment for the growth of the film industry.
Under his leadership, he pledged that the Abia State House of Assembly would provide all necessary legislative support to ensure the success of this project and future cultural initiatives.
Rt. Emeruwa reaffirmed that authentic Aba stories would be told through cinema, aiming to resonate across Nigeria and internationally.
