Gov Yari Condoles Family Of Late Emir Of Tsafe

…Says Nigeria Has Lost A Reformer

The Executive Governor of Zamfara State and Chairman Nigeria Governors’ Forum Hon Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar, today Saturday, July 29th, 2017, condoled the family of Late Emir of Tsafe Yandoto Alhaji Habibu Aliyu MFR,  who died last Wednesday after a protracted illness.  

According to a statement signed by the Hon Special Adviser to the Executive Governor (Public Enlightenment, Media and Communications), Ibrahim Dosara, the governor who was at the Emir’s palace expressed serious concern and worry over the death. 

Alhaji Abdul’aziz Yari Abubakar described the death of the Emir as a great loss not only to his family, Tsafe emirate, Zamfara State, but also Nigeria as a whole. 

He said late Emir Yandoto Habibu Aliyu spent his life serving the religion of Islam, his people and humanity as a whole, leaving  behind, a tract record of total devotion to Allah SWT.  

Governor Yari further described the late Emir as a legend, ardent democrat, human right activist, a traditional ruler who placed the value of his people, culture and his religion above his personal interest. 

The governor also explained that, late Yandoto Habibu Aliyu would ever be remembered for his immense contributions, to  the reform of traditional Institutions both at the state and national levels.  

The NGF chairman said late Emir Yandoto represented his people adequately well at the defunct Sokoto state house of Assembly leaving behind unbearable tract record in his life as a legislator, civil servant and a traditional ruler. 

Governor Abdul’aziz Yari while leading a special prayer session for the late Emir, prayed Allah SWT to forgive all his short comings, bless all family members he left and reward him with Paradise. 

The governor was accompanied during the condolence visit by the Secretary to the state government, Prof. Abdullahi Muhammad Shinkafi, his special advisers on public enlightenment, media and communications Alhaji Ibrahim Magaji Dosara, that of protocol Affairs, Alhaji Sani Garba Gusau and Ahmad Usman Gummi of Liason services as well as other top government’s functionaries.  

Responding on behalf of the deceased family, the Emir of Kaura Namoda Alhaji Muhammad Ahmad Asha MFR thanked the governor and his entourage for the condolence visit and prayed Allah SWT to bless him abundantly.

The Emir who described the governor as a responsible and God fearing leader who always have his people at the back of his mind, said he always respond positively to issues affecting his people. 

Present at the Emirs palace during the condolence visit were family members of the late emir led by the senior District head of Tsafe Alhaji Wadata Habibu Aliyu, Tsafe local government council chairman Alhaji Aliyu Abubakar MC, Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa of zamfara central, Minister of Defense Alhaji Muhammad Mansur Dan’Ali, Permanent Secretaries and top civil servants from the emirate, members of the Tsafe Emirate Council, politicians and business men of the emirate.
