
Ebonyi State Governor, Francis Nwifuru, has suspended 87 government officials, including 25 commissioners, 14 Senior Special Assistants (SSAs), 24 Special Assistants (SAs), and 22 Permanent Secretaries (PSs), for failing to attend an important government function.
The suspension, announced on Monday, July 28, 2025, takes immediate effect, and the affected officials will observe a one-month working suspension without pay.
The 25 Commissioners include Engr. Stanley Lebechi Mbam, Commissioner for Works.
