Gunmen abduct Anambra commissioner, wife, kill aide

Gunmen on Friday, reportedly abducted Anambra State Commissioner for Youths Development, Agha Mba, and his wife.

One of his aides, Mr Affiah, who was also traveling with them was killed during the ambush by the gunmen.

The unfortunate incident took place on their way to Abuja to attend the wedding ceremony of Adaora, the daughter of governor Chukwuma Soludo which will be taking place on Saturday.

Meanwhile, both the state government and police authorities are yet to issue any official statement in respect to the development.
