Gunmen raid Abuja community, kidnap family of four

Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted four family members in the Federal Capital Territory.

The unfortunate incident occurred at the Tundun Fulani extension area of the Bwari Area Council around 1:30am on Friday.

A source from the community who doesn’t want to be quoted said that the gunmen forced their way into the family’s home to kidnap the victims.

It also said one other person who escaped being abducted was shot by the criminal elements.

“There was a kidnap incident in Tundun Fulani extension in Bwari around 1:30 am. The kidnappers were many and fully armed. The kidnappers broke into a house and kidnapped four members of the same family. They also shot one person who escaped being kidnapped”, the source said.

Meanwhile, when the spokesperson of FCT command, Josephine Adeh was contacted, she said police were already on the case.

She said, “We responded swiftly. We are on top of the situation.”
