Gunmen reportedly kill five in Plateau community

Gunmen on Sunday killed five persons in Nchya, village Mangu district of Mangu Local Government in Plateau state .

Sources in the community told The Nation that the people were killed around 1:00am

An eye witness, Joshua Musa confirmed that Nchya community moved the corpses in a pick up vehicle to Mangu town leading to mass protest in Mangu town as of the time of filing this report.

The village is less than 3 kilometers away from Mangu town

Plateau Police spokesman DSP. Alfred Alabo said: ” I’m yet to receive any official report from DPO in the area.”
