Information reaching Elombah.com news desk says that police operatives are firing live bullets at members of the Indigenous People of Biafra [IPOB] to disperse them as they gather to welcome their leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

The event is taking place at Abakaliki, the capital of Ebonyi State

Elombah.com gathered that the state governor, Mr David Umahi ordered the Police to arrest the Biafran agitators.

Internet facilities were also reportedly disrupted in Ebonyi State, as Nnamdi Kanu arrived Abakaliki.

Large amount of people came out to welcome Nnamdi Kanu, amidst police and military intimidation.

Meanwhile, former lecturer with the Kaduna State University, Dr. John Danfulani and also the leader of the Southern Kaduna organisation, who was remanded in the Kaduna Prison for criticizing the administrative style of Nasir El-Rufai, paid a solidarity visit to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

He said Kanu is a great leader who would save Christians from the murderous Nigeria, while he also backed the restoration of Biafra.

Meanwhile, Southern Kaduna residents have pledged to join Biafra in the event that the Nigeria nation breaks up.
