The Inhabitants of Ani-Nwalo community in Oshimili North local government area, Delta State, woke up to shocking homosexuality news recently.

The news is that one of their respected sons was caught in the act of homosexual activity.

The man is Obi Abraham Ifeanyi, 26.

He is the principal suspect said to have been caught in the unwholesome act with one Emeka Enudi.

Village sources said Emeka Enudi’s girlfriend entered the room, and on sighting them in a compromising position, raised the alarm.

Local media reports that as she raised the alarm, the village youths ran out in their numbers but unfortunately, the suspects had fled the scene.

An elder, who does not want his name in print, expressed disappointment over the scenario.

He pointed out that what baffles the residents is why a well-respected Abraham, married with two children, should engage in such ungodly act.

According to reports, angry youths in the community have been in search of Abraham and Emeka.

Meanwhile, the elders have cautioned the youths not to take the laws into their hands.

That is because the matter had been reported to the law enforcement agents for action

Abraham’s wife declined granting an interview as to the husband’s whereabouts and involvement in homosexuality acts.

But one of the villagers, who gave his name as Osondu, said the suspects are known as friends in the community.

At the time of filing this report, the whereabouts of the suspects was still unknown.

It will be recalled that the Nigeria National Assembly passed a law on homosexuality that will put a convicted homosexual behind bars for 14 years.
