Hon. Azubogu: The bricks & caterpillar revolutionary (3) ~ by Chukwudimma Aaron-Okonkwo

The member representing the people of Nnewi north, Nnewi south & Ekwusigo federal constituency in the Green Chamber, Engr Chris Emeka Azubogu has continued to demonstrate that the environmental impact of our society, as it is today, can be transformed with little or more available resources.

And by that single act of service to humanity, he is justifiably matching up to his sobriquet: MR PROJECT.

When we talk about Ifeanyichukwu Nnewi as a politician who is never tired of providing necessary succour that could ameliorate the societal challenges bedeviling our people, we are not bluffing.

As a matter of fact, he is aggressively attracting, implementing and inspecting projects as we are talking right away.

For this development-driven legislator, no stone must be left unturned to see that our society is educationally, industrially and commercially developed with advantageous structures.

At the moment, the workaholic lawmaker have been going on project inspection, assessing the level and examining the quality of work being done. And this inspection is about ensuring that the work being done meets his expectations.

One of such ongoing projects is an industrial road which he facilitated for the benefit of the people. The road which connects Johnwhite Industries at Nnewi, Obimdike Road in Iyaba will serve as an alternative access road to Johnwhite Industries.

The mission to construct this road is in line with his visionary focus on urban infrastructure and attempts to provide infrastructure around all manufacturing hubs in the state.

“We are striving in our little way to crash the cost of manufacturing through the provision of infrastructural facilities and fighting for having business-friendly policies in place.

With the coming of Africa Continental Trade Area (AfCTA), we need to activate our manufacturing hubs while still pursuing gas and energy infrastructure to our industrial clusters”, Engr Azubogu said.

And he continued, “We must put integrated infrastructural support to crash the cost of production for our businesses to compete and create jobs.

We have to help platforms that will create jobs for young people.”, Mr Project concluded.

The bricks and caterpillar revolutionary? Right, that’s Honourable Azubogu!
