Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate Tram has spoken about his confrontation with Keivo, shortly after Big Brother disqualified Keivo from the “Show Ya Sef” house over their physical altercation.
The drama began on Monday night after a disagreement between the two finalists over a black shirt escalated into a physical fight.
Tram had confronted Keivo over the shirt, which he claimed belonged to him, while Keivo denied taking Tram’s clothing and maintained that the shirt belonged to him. The disagreement became heated before the two housemates exchanged blows.
Following the incident, Big Brother reviewed the footage and subsequently announced Keivo’s disqualification on Tuesday.
Big Brother identified Keivo as the perpetrator of the violent act and said his actions constituted a serious breach of the rules governing conduct and safety in the house.
“Keivo, as the perpetrator, has been removed from the house. He is therefore disqualified from the house,” Big Brother announced.
He also reminded the remaining housemates that disagreements do not justify violence, stressing that “violence is never an option.”
Following Keivo’s exit, Tram addressed the circumstances surrounding the confrontation and explained that he had initially approached the situation with the intention of resolving the disagreement peacefully.
“I came to meet you respectfully and even called you outside to resolve it amicably. Even if you say you are the owner, it wouldn’t have escalated,” Tram said.
The shirt dispute had become increasingly tense before the physical confrontation. Reports from the house indicated that Keivo was particularly upset by being accused of taking something that did not belong to him.
Keivo later became emotional while explaining his side of the incident, saying the matter had gone beyond the shirt because he did not want viewers to leave the show believing he was a thief.
The confrontation occurred during the final week of the competition, making Keivo’s disqualification particularly significant. He had been among the housemates who secured a place in the finale, which is scheduled for October 4.
Keivo’s removal also means he will no longer compete for the season’s ₦160 million grand prize. His disqualification leaves the remaining housemates to continue the competition without him.
The incident has generated divided reactions among BBNaija viewers, with some supporting Big Brother’s decision to punish physical violence and others questioning the events leading up to the fight and whether Tram should also face disciplinary action.
For now, Big Brother’s decision has brought Keivo’s “Show Ya Sef” journey to an abrupt end, following a disagreement that started with a shirt but eventually became one of the biggest controversies of the final week.
