I commend Buhari for sacking his clueless & nepotistic Service Chiefs ~ Reno Omokri

The former media aide to president Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has reacted to the immediate dismissal of the Services Chiefs by President Mohammadu Buhari.

The controversial American based pastor said the decision of president Mohammadu Buhari to fire what he described as “clueless and nepotistic Service Chiefs” shows that he is listening to the voices of reason.

Reno said, “I commend General Buhari for listening to voices of reason and sacking his clueless and nepotistic service chiefs. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

“It is disappointing that he maintained his practice of appointing largely Northern Muslim males. He maintained the status quo to a large extent by appointing a Northern Muslim as chief of Army staff, and appointing a Southern General to the ceremonial, powerless position of Chief of Defence Staff. All the same, half bread is better than none.”

Recall that president Mohammadu Buhari has been under serious fire to sack the Service Chiefs after the level of insecurity in the country skyrocketed to an uncontrollable apogee.

However, many have welcomed the recent sack of the Service Chiefs as this new development will help to stem the problem of insecurity which has engulfed the entire country.
