Reality TV star and actress Mercy Eke has opened up about undergoing a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedure, revealing that the decision was largely influenced by trends and peer pressure.

Speaking on the Love Is A Game podcast, the former Big Brother Naija winner admitted that despite already having a naturally curvy figure, she felt compelled to enhance her body at the time.

“I got a BBL because it was trending and there was a lot of peer pressure,” she said.

Mercy Eke also disclosed that she kept the decision from her mother, explaining that she anticipated disapproval.

“I didn’t tell my mum because I knew she would discourage me,” she added.

The actress went on to describe the intense recovery process, highlighting the physical and emotional toll it took on her.

“You can’t sleep on your bum for 14 days, and you’ll cry for the first three days from the pain,” she revealed, noting that the process also involved daily massages.

Despite the challenges, Mercy Eke said she is satisfied with the outcome, stating that the results boosted her confidence.
