I Will Reposition Anambra For Greatness ― Ifeanyichukwu Okonkwo
Former gubernatorial aspirant in Anambra State, Mr. Ifeanyichukwu Okonkwo [Onwa Nnobi] has declared his readiness to restructure Anambra State and place it where it ought to have been considering its antecedents and prowess.
To achieve the feat, he has taken two steps:
1. He joined the United Progressives Party [UPP]
2. He has declared his intention to vie for the top seat during the Anambra State governorship election which is coming up in November, 2017.
Mr. Okonkwo made this known to Elombah.com when he played host to the media crew in his Enugu abode.
Onwa Nnobi, during the interview, lambasted the present governor, Chief Willie Obiano of the All Progressives Grand Alliance [APGA] for leading Anambra State to Golgotha during his three years in office.
He also castigated the leadership of the ruling All Progressives Congress [APC] under the presidency of Muhammadu Buhari for running a government without agenda.
He assured Ndi Anambra that the governance of APGA and APC is done and dusted, especially in the state as he is set to uproot them and send them to the abyss.
Mr. Okonkwo was also full of praises for the chairman of the United Progressives Party, Dr. Chekwas Okorie.
He said that Dr. Chekwas not only understands what it means to be an Igbo, but is the most consistent and audacious Igbo political icon.
In his words, “he is vibrant, and has not sold out in the pursuit of personal financial benefits instead of constituency interests.”
He also insisted that for the Igbos to make headway in the Nigerian political atmosphere, “we must surrender the ME for the WE”.
The explosive interview will be aired on Elombah.com shortly.
