The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has revealed the documents and electronic devices it recovered from former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai’s Abuja residence.

The items include nine flash drives, one memory card, seven hard drives, multiple laptops (Apple MacBook Pro and Elumac Book Pro), various mobile phones, and a Remarkable tablet.

The ICPC also seized investor account statements, asset declaration forms, corporate records, loan documents, land titles, and share certificates.

Meanwhile, the legal face-off between El-rufai and the anti-graft agency has intensified.

The commission is urging the Federal Capital Territory High Court to dismiss El-Rufai’s N1 billion fundamental rights suit, claiming its operatives acted under a valid search warrant issued on February 18 and executed on February 19.

The agency confirmed that its officials were accompanied by personnel of the Nigeria Police Force and that the operation was witnessed by El-Rufai’s wife, Hadiza, and his son, Mohammed.

El-Rufai’s family disputed the scope of the seized items, alleging the warrant was fraudulently procured.
