Dr Ifeanyi Ubah has stated that a responsible government must be mindful of the effects of her failed policy on investor’s money.
Dr. Ubah said this during the Rotary Club 9140 International Conference , where he delivered lecture centered on Entrepreneurship at Owerri Imo state last week.
According to the leading investor in Nigeria downstream , “we also have our own problems in investing within the confines of government policies because every businessman must look at the policy of the government, invest in line with the policy of the govt ;
“But when government policy fails, government never goes back to compensate businessmen that invested in line with the failed policy to atone the failed policy,” he said .
Ubah who also advised that young ones must recognized the important of mentorship .Saying that he was a product of mentorship of Chief Dr Cletus Ibeto of Ibeto group.
The Anambra state born entrepreneur, stated that he do keep awake with his team in order to be ahead of others .
According to him: “I thank God who made me to be working while others were sleeping because that is one of my secret .
“You must work when others are sleeping; if you don’t work when others are sleeping , then you cannot work on top of others,” he submit .
The newly elected FA Chairman of Anambra State also calls for introduction of interlocking road making in Nigeria especially in our rural roads in order to create millions of jobs and absolved greater number of unemployed youths in the country .
He said: “In a country like South Africa, 45% of their rural roads are done with interlocking system and you can imagine jobs it generate for the youths .
“It is also of note that roads done with interlocking system have better longevity “.
Ubah also advocated for we to develop culture of discipline while tapping from other country’s resources like US are doing and saving our own .
Dr Ubah also received Award during from Rotary for his contribution for the service to humanity.
