Imo LGA chair, Alaribe appoints 54 SAs

Iheukwumere Alaribe, the Chairman of Aboh Mbaise Local Government Council in Imo State, has appointed 54 Special Assistants and Personal Assistants.

This appointment was announced in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Dike Godspower.

The appointees are expected to support the chairman in implementing his administration’s policies and programs.

The inauguration of the 54 appointees is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM in the Council Chambers.

The appointees include; Rt. Hon. Charles Okechukwu, Paul Anyanwu, Eric Ihekwoaba.

Louis Nzenwa, Anayo Anyanwu, Ifeanyi Muonaka, Uche Modestus Ezunike, Mrs. Ikeoma Eke-Njoku.

Patrick Ibe, Enyeribe Tochukwu, Chinwendu Awusaku, Funtan Okechukwu Onyeulor.

Comrade Charles Osuagwu, Nze Tony Onyewuenyi, Nwachukwu Henry, Andrew Onu.

Hon. Mrs. Uchechi Ogbonna, Hon. Emmanuel Nwanna, Mrs. Ndidi Njoku, Onu Ignatius Anukom, Caleb Anyanwu (Nze).

Although there isn’t much information available about Chairman Alaribe’s agenda for his administration beyond the appointments, a top contender for the chairmanship seat in Aboh Mbaise, Irechukwu Ndudirim Okereke, emphasized agricultural candidate for the same position, that his administration would focus on agriculture and agricultural development to ensure food security for the people ,

In February 2025, Chairman Alaribe presented the 2025 budget, christened “Budget of Hope and Development,” to the Legislative Arm of the Council.

He stated that the budget is a bold step towards laying a solid foundation for development and growth in Aboh Mbaise LGA.

This suggests that the chairman is committed to improving the lives of his constituents and developing the local government Area.

This was contained in a statement issued at the weekend by the Chief Press Secretary to the chairman, Dike Godspower.

The statement disclosed that the appointees would be inaugurated on Wednesday, July 9.

It reads: “Barr. Iheukwumere Alaribe, the Executive Chairman of Aboh Mbaise Local Government Council, has approved the appointment of 54 Special Assistants and Personal Assistants following a successful screening process.

“The list of appointees is as follows: Rt. Hon. Charles Okechukwu, Paul Anyanwu, Eric Ihekwoaba, Louis Nzenwa, Anayo Anyanwu, Ifeanyi Muonaka, Uche Modestus Ezunike, Mrs. Ikeoma Eke-Njoku, Patrick Ibe, Enyeribe Tochukwu, Chinwendu Awusaku, Funtan Okechukwu Onyeulor, Comrade Charles Osuagwu, Nze Tony Onyewuenyi, Nwachukwu Henry, Andrew Onu, Hon. “The appointees will be inaugurated on Wednesday, July 9, 2025. Time: 10:00 AM. Venue: Council Chambers.

“Appointees are requested to be seated before the arrival of the Executive Chairman.”
