INEC declares Aminu Tambuwal winner of Sokoto state guber election

In sokoto state, collation and announcement of final results has been concluded and the final declaration of winner has been made.

The returning officer, Fatima Mukhtar announced that the All Progressives Congress polled 511,660 votes while the People’s democratic party had 512,002 votes.

The incumbent, Aminu Tambuwal has therefore been returned to office.
