The spiritual leader of the Igbo nation Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka (Igbo) has hailed the citizens of Anambra State residing in Lagos and Abuja for what he described as “massive response” they accorded the Anambra Governor, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo when the Governor visited Lagos and Abuja to rally support from Ndi Anambra over the security challenges facing the Light of the Nation State.
Governor Soludo in a bid to give more effective response to the teething security challenge currently bedeviling Anambra State in particular and Southeast geopolitical zone in general beckoned on citizens of Anambra outside the State with a trip to Lagos and Abuja during which wealthy Anambra citizens raised huge amount of money to support his initiative on security.
Governor Soludo also visited the detained leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Chief Ezeonwuka in his observation noted that Soludo has begun to bring his expertise to bear in governance hoping that the outcome of his trip to Lagos and Abuja and the meeting he had with the leader of IPOB Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will yield positive results to the much needed peace and enhanced security in Anambra and Igboland.
The Ogilisi Igbo seized the opportunity to once again reiterate his call on Ndigbo to organise a mass evacuation of corpses stockpiled in mortuaries across Igboland and give the corpses mass burial as according to him the souls of those corpses languishing in mortuaries are possessing the youth and turning them to zombies and hoodlums with urge to go into violent crimes such as armed robbery, kidnapping and ritual killings.
