Indigenous People of Biafra [IPOB] member shot by the Nigerian military during the May 30, 2016, Biafra Remembrance Day, Kingsley Okon is dead.

A member of the Indigenous People of Biafra [IPOB] who was shot by the Nigerian military Kingsley Okon is dead.

Late Kingsley Okon was shot during the May 30, 2016, Biafra Remembrance Day at Nkpor, Anambra State.

He died after a long battle with a gunshot wound on the neck by Army operatives on the fateful day.

Okon is one of the over two hundred defenceless and unarmed IPOB members that have been murdered by soldiers since General Muhammadu Buhari took over power in 2015.
