He also lambasted some pen warriors whom he described as cowardly and pompous writers.

The media ace was reacting to the latest ethnic violence that is sweeping some section of the country.

He said, “The Next Civil War in Nigeria (God forbid), if we are not careful, may be instigated by reckless reports promoted by irresponsible media and cowardly but pompous writers”

Recall that Ondo and Oyo State have been in the news after a Yoruba rights activist, Sunday Igboho gave an eviction notice to Fulani herdsmen accused of banditry, rape, kidnapping and destruction of farmlands.

Igboho who appeared unyielding while reiterating his position said, terror herdsmen must be flushed out of the South west region.

The same problem is been replicated in the Southeast zone as the proscribed Indigenous People Of Biafra also ordered terror herdsmen to leave all the forests in the region or face terrible consequences.

Moreover, the apex Igbo social cultural organization in the region, Ohanaeze Ndigbo dismissed the eviction order by IPOB, describing it as null and void.

However, President Mohammadu Buhari has vowed that his government will protect all religious and ethnic groups, whether majority or minority in line with its responsibility under the constitution.
