The Embassy of the State of Palestine has issued a stark statement detailing the devastating impact of the ongoing conflict with Israel, which has resulted in significant loss of life, injury, and destruction of infrastructure.

According to the statement, as of June 4th, the Palestinian death toll stands at 36,550, with 82,959 injured and nearly 10,000 missing under rubble.

The majority of the victims are women and children.

The statement also highlights the destruction of Gaza’s infrastructure, with 55% of all structures damaged or destroyed, according to a UN satellite analysis.

Additionally, Israel controls 88% of Palestinian water sources in the Occupied West Bank, leaving Palestinians with limited access to this essential resource.

The Palestinian Ambassador, Abdullah M. Abu Shawesh, has called on the international community to take action, urging countries to support Palestine’s bid for statehood and to utilize their political weight to secure balance on the international political stage.

The statement also alleges that Israel has proposed laws that aim to complete the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians from their homeland and calls on national parliaments worldwide to sever relations with Israel until it reviews and dismantles these laws.

The Embassy’s statement comes as the conflict continues to escalate, with reports of displacement, injury, and death in Jabalia and elsewhere. The international community is facing growing pressure to intervene and bring an end to the violence.
