A former media aide to President Ebele Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has blasted Sheik Gumi, a popular Islamic cleric for saying that Biafra and Oduduwa agitators are not different from Bokoharam.

Reno in a statement said why would Sheik Gumi spoil his good name by making such unrelated comparison.

The US based pastor said while Bokoharam is fighting to force their religion on others, IPOB and Oduduwa agitators are fighting for their own nation.

Reno Omokri went further to say that it betrays lack of intelligence for Gumi to call Biafra and Oduduwa agitators Bokoharam.

He said, “Why would Sheikh Gumi spoil his good name by saying ‘Biafra and Oduduwa Agitators Are Not Different From Boko Haram’?

“Boko Haram want to force their religion on others. Biafra and Odua agitators want their own nation. Big DIFFERENCE. It betrays lack of intelligence for Gumi to call them Boko Haram.

“And I use to think Gumi was intelligent and broad minded. Biafra and Odua existed before Nigeria. God created the Yoruba and Igbo race.

“It was the British that FORCEFULLY created Nigeria. Sunday Igboho is not miscreant, as Gumi alleges. He is a defender of the defenceless.

“He is a hero. Between Gumi, who said killer herdsmen should be given amnesty and compensated, and Odua and Biafra agitators, who don’t kill and only want to leave Nigeria because of injustice, who is like Boko Haram? It is certainly not Odua and Biafra agitators!”
