Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker has confirmed that he rejected a lucrative offer from a Saudi Arabian club, choosing to stay with the Reds instead.

In an exclusive interview with the Telegraph, Alisson revealed that he had received interest from the Saudi club but expressed his desire to honor his contract with Liverpool. “Yes, they had interest. I want to honor my contract and finish my contract here or make a new one,” he stated.

Alisson also emphasized his happiness at Liverpool, citing his family’s contentment as a key factor in his decision. “I am really happy here at Liverpool. My family is happy,” he added.

The Brazilian goalkeeper’s decision to stay at Liverpool is a significant boost for the club, which can now focus on the upcoming season with their star player on board. Alisson’s experience and talent are invaluable to the team, and his commitment to the club is a testament to his dedication to the Reds.

With this development, Liverpool fans can breathe a sigh of relief, knowing that their world-class goalkeeper will remain at the club for the foreseeable future.
