The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has commenced the 2025 Direct Entry (DE) registration process across Nigeria.

Diaspora digital media DDM gathered that the registration officially started on March 12, 2025, following the conclusion of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) registration.

This initiative provides a direct admission route for candidates with advanced qualifications into Nigerian universities.

JAMB has warned that candidates must submit authentic credentials to avoid disqualification or legal action.

The board has implemented strict verification measures to ensure only eligible applicants benefit from the DE admission process.

Understanding JAMB Direct Entry (DE)

The Direct Entry system allows candidates to gain admission into 200 level without taking the UTME.

This fast-track admission process is for individuals who already possess higher academic qualifications.

Accepted qualifications include National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), and Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE).

Other eligible certificates include Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) Certificate and Advanced Level (A-Level) Certificate.

JAMB also recognizes other equivalent qualifications from accredited institutions across Nigeria.
