The African Democratic Congress (ADC) gubernatorial candidate, Mr. John Chuma Nwosu has hailed HRM Igwe (Dr.) K.O.N. Orizu III, Igwe Nnewi, as he marked his 100th birthday.
In a goodwill message to Igwe Orizu, Mr. Nwosu noted that his hundred years of life and leadership stand as a beacon of wisdom, peace, and visionary guidance.
He also described the traditional ruler as a symbol of unity and cultural pride, who upholding the noble traditions of the Nnewi Kingdom.
Felicitating with the Igwe, Nwosu stated: “On behalf of my family and the John Chuma Nwosu Campaign Organization, I extend our heartfelt congratulations and warmest goodwill to His Royal Majesty, Igwe (Dr.) K.O.N. Orizu III, CON, the esteemed Igwe Nnewi, on the momentous occasion of his Centenary Celebration.
“Your Majesty, your hundred years of life and leadership stand as a beacon of wisdom, peace, and visionary guidance.
“You have remained a symbol of unity and cultural pride, inspiring generations and upholding the noble traditions of the Nnewi Kingdom with grace and distinction.
“As you celebrate this rare and remarkable milestone, we join the good people of Nnewi, Anambra State, and Nigeria at large in thanking God for your life of service and impact.
“We pray for your continued good health, divine strength, and enduring reign in peace and prosperity.

Throwback
It could be recalled that Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) Igwe Orizu, on Sunday, October 26, 2025, clocked one hundred years.
With that feat, he extended his run as the longest living and reigning monarch in Nigeria.
During the historic centenary birthday celebration, Igwe Orizu bestowed chieftaincy titles on notable Nnewi sons and daughters to mark the occasion.
One of the recipients was a former Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ben Chuks Nwosu, who bagged the title “Ogbalike Nnewi”.
Hon. Nwosu, incidentally, is the Chief of Staff to the ADC governorship candidate’s John Chuma Nwosu Campaign Council.
