Zlatan Ibrahimovic is set to be announced as Manchester United’s first signing of the Jose Mourinho era in the next 48 hours, according to reports.

Jose Mourinho is said to be determined to make free agent Zlatan Ibrahimovic his first signing as Manchester United manager.

The enigmatic 34-year-old is an ideal candidate for Manchester United as Ed Woodward sets his sights on a marquee signing to kick-start the Mourinho era, and the Daily Mail claim that Ibrahimovic is keen to work with his old Inter Milan coach.

Despite being a free agent however, it is believed that Ibrahimovic will still demand an £8million singing-on fee alongside his weekly salary of more than £200,000 a week.

Ibrahimovic played his last game for Paris Saint-Germain last weekend and is available on a free transfer.
