JUST IN: 2 eliminated as security forces foil gunmen attack in Anambra

Security forces have eliminated two ragtag gunmen who in the wee hours of Monday launched a vicious attack on their facility in Okija part of Anambra State.

Okija is the largest town in Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State.

News Band gathered that while two of the criminal elements were taken out during exchange of gun fire, two AK-47 riffles were also recovered.

At the time of filing this report, many of the gunmen who are now at large sustained various degrees of injury and bullet wounds.

Meanwhile, the need for a sane and secured environment in Anambra State has remained a top priority of Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo’s administration.
