All individuals who recently obtained membership cards from the Akwa Ibom chapter without the official stamp and signature of the State Chairman are advised to visit the State Secretariat.
The ADC emphasized that the correct address for verification and registration is No. 84 Udotung Ubo Street, Uyo.
Affected members are required to get their cards stamped and signed by the State Chairman, and have their details formally entered into the party’s membership register.
This measure, according to the party, is aimed at ensuring transparency and authenticating new memberships as part of its internal records management.
The ADC has positioned itself as a third-force political movement in Nigeria, often advocating for inclusive governance, youth participation, and anti-corruption reforms.
Party officials believe that an organized grassroots structure, such as this release of verified chairmen, is vital to improving the party’s electoral fortunes, especially as the 2027 general elections loom in the horizon.
The party also hinted that it would soon begin consultations across zones, allowing the newly confirmed state executives to coordinate local mobilizations and resolve lingering disputes in some chapters.
Stakeholders and observers have commended the ADC’s transparency in this release, calling for other political parties to adopt similar openness regarding internal leadership updates.
As political alignments continue to evolve across the country, attention is now focused on how state chairmen of all political parties, including the ADC, will shape grassroots politics and voter engagement ahead of upcoming elections.
More updates are expected as the ADC intensifies preparation for its national convention and other internal activities.
