JUST IN: Family postpones Mary Habila’s burial indefinitely

The family of Mary Habila, the physiotherapist who died in a controversial circumstance at the country home of the Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, has postponed her burial indefinitely.

This was disclosed in a statement issued by Elisha Haruna on behalf of the family.

In the statement titled, “Notice of Postponement of Burial”, the family said the postponement was done due to unforeseen circumstances.

While apologizing to friends and well wishers for the inconveniences which the postponement must have caused them, Haruna said a new date for the burial will be communicated as soon as arrangements are finalized.

The statement reads: “We wish to inform family, friends, and well-wishers that the burial ceremony of our beloved Daughter (Mary Habila) has been postponed until further notice due to unforeseen circumstances.

“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding, patience, and continued support during this time.

“A new date for the burial will be communicated as soon as arrangements are finalized.

“Thank you for your prayers, understanding, and cooperation.”
