The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, has ordered an investigation into the viral video comments by controversial rising artist, Habeeb Okikiola known as Portable.
Portable had, in the video, said that he founded One Million Boys and Ajah Boys cult groups terrorising Lagos State.
News Band had published a video wherein Portable was seen boasting how he founded the dangerous criminal groups.
Speaking in Yoruba, the “Zaazu” crooner said: “Open your ears and hear me, you’ve heard about Ajah Boys, One Million Boys, I’m their founder.”
Responding to the claim, the Nigeria Police Force disclosed that IGP ordered investigation into the confessional claim.
The Police tweeted on its Twitter handle:
“Cultism: Police to Investigate Portable over formation of One Million Boys Sequel to the trending video of one Habeeb Okikiola aka Portable where he claimed to have formed the One-Million Boys cult group terrorising some parts of Lagos State, the IGP has ordered.”
