(DDM) – Labour Party (LP) governorship candidate, Chief Dr George Moghalu (Ohamadike), has praised the dedication and energy of young people driving his campaign ahead of the November 8 Anambra election.
According to Diaspora Digital Media (DDM), Moghalu shared his appreciation on his verified X handle, emphasizing the incredible passion, creativity, and strength the youths have infused into his movement to “Recover Anambra.”
He wrote: “I love working with the youths; the energy they bring into everything is incredible.
The youths who worked with me in this campaign brought in a lot of vigor in the quest to RECOVER ANAMBRA! Vote LP, Anambra ga adi mma ozo.”
Moghalu’s statement comes as the Labour Party intensifies its final campaign activities across the state, mobilizing young voters under the rallying message of transformation, inclusion, and accountable leadership.
Observers note that youth participation has become a central force in Anambra’s political landscape, especially under the OBIdient movement, which continues to inspire thousands of first-time voters to take part in Nigeria’s democratic process.
Political analysts believe Moghalu’s connection with the youth could give the Labour Party an advantage, as over 60 percent of Anambra’s registered voters fall within the youthful demographic bracket.
The LP candidate has repeatedly highlighted education, digital innovation, and youth empowerment as central pillars of his development blueprint, promising to create a government that “listens, learns, and leads with the people.”
As election day approaches, his message of recovery and reform continues to resonate with supporters, especially among young voters who see the Labour Party as a fresh alternative to the old political order.
Moghalu’s vision, rooted in transparency and people-driven governance, reflects his campaign slogan: “Anambra ga adi mma ozo”, meaning “Anambra will be good again.”
With just hours left before the polls open, youth enthusiasm remains one of the strongest indicators of the Labour Party’s growing momentum across Anambra’s 21 local government areas.
