The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has joined other aggrieved political parties to call for the immediate cancellation of the general election.
Rufa’i Alkali, the national chairman of the NNPP, is currently addressing a press conference in Abuja.
He said the elections were marred with voter suppression, intimidation, and vote buying.
Alkali asked the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to announce a new date for fresh elections.
The party which is coming a distant 4th in the election joind the Peoples Democratic Party and the Labour Party in making this demand from the electoral umpire.
