The remains of Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Adetunji, have been interred at his Popoyemoja Palace, Ibadan amid tears and weeping.
He was crowned the 41st Olubadan of Ibadan following his coronation on March 4, 2016.
The corpse was returned to the palace at about 4:35pm from Mapo Hall where a lying in state and prayer held.
Present at the occasion were top government functionaries including Deputy Governor Rauf Olaniyan, the Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Sheikh AbdulGaniy Agbotomokekere, as well as thousands of indigenes and residents of Ibadan.
