Honourable Moses Thomas Sule, Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly and his deputy, Honourable Gwottaon have resigned from their positions.
Following their resignation, Gabriel Dawang, a member from Pankshin North, has been elected as the new Speaker.
Also, Honourable Timothy Dantong of the Riyom constituency has taken over as the new deputy speaker.
Meanwhile, at the time of filing this report, no reason have been given for the sudden resignation of the two lawmakers.
