Aba, the financial hub city of Abia State, has been totally locked down by protesters up to the expressway.

Aba, the financial hub city of Abia State, has been totally locked down by protesters up to the expressway.

The protesters are angry over the Appeal Court ruling on Abia Governorship election.

The Appeal Court had, on December 31, 2015 sacked Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP].

It also declared his All Progressives Grand Alliance [APGA] counterpart, Dr. Alex Otti winner with no option of rerun.

Road use are hereby advised to use other routes to Port Harcourt as the expressway is totally seiged.
