The Supreme Court, on Tuesday, reserved judgments in an appeal lodged by the governorship candidates of the Labour Party (LP), Mr Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, and his PDP counterpart, Azeez Adediran, against the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu

Recall that Sanwo-Olu contested under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the governorship election held in March 2023.

Meanwhile, the appeals by Rhodes-Vivour and Adeniran are against the earlier judgments of the Court of Appeal in Lagos, which affirmed the two decisions of the election tribunal that struck out their petition, challenging Sanwo-Olu’s victory in the last governorship election.
