Veteran Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has commended her colleague, Daniel Etim-Effiong, for his professionalism while filming an intimate bedroom scene in Blood Sisters Season 2.
Speaking during an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, the 53-year-old actress shared insights into the behind-the-scenes experience, highlighting the level of trust and respect required to execute such sensitive scenes.
Henshaw revealed that she was semi-clothed during the shoot but felt completely safe throughout the process due to Etim-Effiong’s disciplined and respectful conduct.
“I had a conversation with Daniel about the scene — ‘How far are you comfortable?’ And he said, ‘Sis, no problem,’” she said. “I was bare up with him. At no point did Daniel get aroused; he is a good boy.”
She emphasized that filming intimate scenes in television and film demands a high degree of maturity, communication, and mutual understanding between actors.
According to Henshaw, Etim-Effiong handled the situation with the level of professionalism expected in the industry, ensuring that boundaries were respected at all times.
Her comments have since sparked conversations online about professionalism in Nollywood, with many praising both actors for setting a standard in handling delicate on-screen moments.
