ANIOMA, DELTA STATE – Hon. Kenneth Gbandi has extended warm Eid-el-Adha greetings to Muslim faithful, calling for stronger unity, religious tolerance, and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians during the sacred celebration.

The message was delivered as Muslims across Nigeria and different parts of the world marked Eid-el-Adha, one of Islam’s most important religious festivals celebrated in remembrance of sacrifice, faith, and obedience.

Hon. Gbandi used the occasion to urge citizens to look beyond differences in religion, ethnicity, and political affiliation and focus on shared values capable of promoting national progress.

He emphasized that the celebration should not only be a period of festivity but also a time for reflection on the ideals of compassion, sacrifice, peace, and mutual understanding among people of different backgrounds.

According to him, diversity in religious beliefs should never become a source of division, but rather an opportunity to strengthen relationships and build a stronger society based on respect and common values.

He noted that unity remains essential at a time when Nigeria continues to face various social and economic challenges requiring collective efforts from citizens.

Hon. Gbandi stressed that people of different faiths can coexist peacefully while pursuing common goals that benefit their communities and the nation at large.

Speaking further, he encouraged citizens to renew their commitment to religious freedom and national unity, saying the country’s strength lies in its ability to accommodate different beliefs and cultures.
