Kidnap: Ondo Catholic Secretariat Fingers Police Commissioner

The Ondo Catholic secretariat has fingered the state Commissioner for Police in a kidnap for ransom case.

The Secretariat stated this while narrating their ordeal at the hands of kidnapers that kidnapped one of their own at Ore while on his way to Lagos.

After the story, the Catholic group was forced to conclude that “kidnapers work hand in hand with the Police especially in Ondo state”. 

They also cautioned all to “please beware of evil Police in Ondo state”. 

To cap it all, they demanded that the “Ondo state Police commissioner should be  thoroughly investigated” over the case.

On the 24th of November 2017, one of our own was kidnapped at Ore while on his way to Lagos. He boarded a commercial bus heading to Lagos, unfortunately they were robbed by some gun men at Ore. 

The gun men took some of them away on gun point. The matter was reported to the Police station there at ore. 

The Police took statements & asked family members to go home that they will swing into action. The Police did not make any move to trace the kidnapers. 

Rather the Police advised that we should cooperate with the kidnapers for the safety of our brother. 

The next day one of the kidnapers called & said they are in possession of  our brother, that we should make 10 million  Naira available if we need him alive. 

We intimated the Police about the conversation, but the police still insisted we make money available for the kidnapers such that our brother can get his freedom. 

We became very helpless such that we had no choice than to  bargain   & reach an agreement with them. 

They gave us instruction on how to deliver the money to them in that same Ondo State. The cash was delivered to them. 

They later said an okada man will bring our brother near the Police station. 

We were at the Police station when the okada man brought our brother & the police was thanking the okada man instead of arresting him to know where he took this guy from. 

Three other victims were released that same night of 28th of November 2017 at 7.16 pm. 

The funniest part of this story is that the commissioner of Police Ondo State in person of Mr Olubgenbga Adeyanju shamelessly announced on TV, Radio & Newspapers that the Police in Ondo state rescued the victims from the hands of kidnapers without paying any ransom. 

It was also published in the Guardian newspaper on the 30th of November 2017. 

This goes to show that  kidnapers work hand in hand with the Police especially in Ondo state. Please beware of evil Police in Ondo state. 

Keep posting until it gets to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria who happens to be an anti-corruption crusader. 

Ondo state Police commissioner should be  thoroughly investigated.
