Killing of 150 people in Kukuwa-Gari was fabricated- Defence spokesman

‎It could be recalled that AFP reported that no fewer than 150 people were drowned or killed in Kukuwa-Gari village in Yobe state when gunmen suspected to be members of Boko Haram Islamic terror group invaded the community.

‎However, in a report monitored on Channels TV, Colonel Rabe claimed that the report of killing of 150 people in Yobe state by gunmen on AFP was ‎untrue.

The news agency in its report said the affected people were mostly women and children.

They had quoted eyewitness as saying that the gunmen were escaping bombardment from the military before they moved into the remote village of Kukuwa-Gari, opening fire on the villagers.

But colonel Abubakar said the killing of 150 people Kukuwa-Gari village in Yobe state was fabricated by the news Agency.
