Kwara ADC congratulates Bolaji Abdullahi on national publicity appointment

(DDM) – The Kwara State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has extended warm congratulations to Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi following his appointment as the National Publicity Secretary of the party.

Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) gathered that the congratulatory message was officially released by the State Publicity Secretary, Hon. Comrade Ibraheem Alfa Abdulrasheed Gbagba, on behalf of the entire Kwara ADC structure.

In the statement, Comrade Gbagba expressed delight over Abdullahi’s emergence and described it as a welcome development that promises to uplift the image and voice of the party nationally.

He conveyed heartfelt prayers for divine guidance, wisdom, and strength to accompany Abdullahi as he embarks on this new role.

Gbagba stated that the former minister’s wealth of experience in public communication and governance is a valuable asset to the ADC at a time when the party is repositioning for national relevance.

“We are confident that your leadership in this capacity will inspire party members across the country and project the ideals of the ADC with clarity, courage, and consistency,” the Kwara State spokesperson declared.

He also noted that Abdullahi’s appointment is a boost not just for Kwara ADC but for the entire Northern bloc, who see in him a voice capable of reshaping national discourse and reinforcing the party’s progressive identity.

Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, a seasoned journalist and former Minister of Youth and Sports under the Goodluck Jonathan administration, is widely known for his articulate communication style and progressive political ideology.

He served as the National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the formative years of the party before returning to the ADC, where he has since played advisory roles behind the scenes.

His new position within the ADC is seen by many observers as a strategic move by the party’s National Working Committee to harness credible, experienced voices as it plans ahead of the 2027 general elections.

According to insiders, Abdullahi’s role will involve repositioning the ADC’s image, engaging youth across the country, and amplifying the voices of citizens disillusioned by mainstream political parties.

Hon. Comrade Gbagba reiterated Kwara ADC’s commitment to supporting Abdullahi and ensuring the party’s message reaches every grassroots voter in the state.

He also called on other states to follow suit by rallying around the national executive, emphasizing that a united ADC can become a credible third force in Nigeria’s evolving political terrain.
