Ilorin, Kwara State – April 14- The Kwara State Police Command has arrested Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, a famous Nigerian artist known as “Portable,” following serious allegations.
According to authorities, Mr. Okunola Saheed, alias “Osupa,” filed a petition accusing Portable of multiple crimes.
These include criminal defamation, threats to life, and incitement to violence.
Furthermore, SP Adetoun Ejire-Adeyemi, the Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the allegations in an official statement.
She stated that Portable also faces charges of character assassination, public disturbance, and using abusive language.
Due to the severity of the accusations, the police obtained an arrest warrant from a Magistrate Court in Ilorin.
Subsequently, officers traveled to Abeokuta, Ogun State, where they arrested Portable on April 13, 2025, at 7:25 PM.
After his apprehension, authorities transported him to Ilorin for interrogation.
