Kwara United Football Club have intensified training ahead of their highly anticipated clash with Abakaliki FC in the final of the President Federation Cup, scheduled for Saturday, June 28, at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos.

In a spirited training session held on Monday at the Legacy Football Pitch, Surulere, the team—under the close watch of Head Coach Tunde Sanni—worked on tactical drills, team cohesion, and both physical and mental sharpness as they prepare for one of the biggest matches in the club’s history.

Coach Sanni emphasized structured play and high-pressure scenarios during the session, with the objective of fine-tuning the squad’s readiness for the decisive encounter.

The Ilorin-based side is aiming to write their name in the history books with a maiden triumph in Nigeria’s oldest and most prestigious football competition.

Reaching the final alone marks a milestone for the Harmony Boys, but the players and coaching crew say they are focused on completing the journey with silverware.

Supporters of the club have also begun mobilizing to Lagos in large numbers, hoping to witness a historic moment for Kwara football.
