Lagos State Police mandates third-party motor vehicle insurance enforcement

Lagos, Nigeria – February 1, 2025 – In a decisive effort to enhance road safety, the Lagos State Police Command has officially begun enforcing mandatory Third Party Motor Vehicle Insurance today.

This initiative aligns with the directive from Inspector-General of Police, Dr. Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, NPM, emphasizing compliance.

Effective immediately, all vehicle owners in Lagos State must possess valid Third Party Insurance coverage to comply with regulations.
