Sen. Adamu Aliero urged his colleagues to support the bill.

Sen. Adeyeye thanks the Committee for moving the total capital from N100m to N300m but noted that it is little compared to our population.

The Senate resolves to the committee of whole for the clause by clause consideration of the Agricultural Credit Scheme Act.

The Senate now reverts to plenary and Senate President, Bukola Saraki reports progress.

Treaty to Est. African Economic Community Relating to Pan African Parliament  ( Accession & Joint solution) Bill is passed for 3rd Reading.

Utilities Charges Commission Act CAP U17 LFN, 2004 (Amendment) Bill,  2016 (HB.244) Concurrence passes 3rd Reading.

National Judiciary Institute Act CAP N55 LFN, 2004 (Amendment ) Bill, 2016 (HB 302)- Concurrence  passes 3rd Reading.

Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Act CAP C31 LFN 2000  (Amendment ) Bill, 2016  (HB, 232) Concurrence is passed for 3rd Reading.

Small and Medium Scale Enterprise Development Agency Act CAP C19 LFN 2004  (Amendment ) Bill 2016  (HB .259) is passed for 3rd Reading.

Senate President Bukola Saraki thanks his colleagues for their contributions towards making the session a success.

Senate Leader moves for the senate to adjourn plenary having exhausted the content of the order paper and the Minority Leader seconds.

Senate President puts the question and plenary is adjourned to Tuesday 11th October 2016.

The Senate Today passed two bills:

1) A Bill for an Act to Amend The Agricultural Credit Scheme Fund 

2) Defense Space Agency Bill

Senator Dino Melaye presented a bill for an Act for the Prohibition and Protection of Persons from Lynching, Mob Action and Extrajudicial Executions.

This Bill seeks to discourage Jungle Justice and ensure the will of justice is enforced so that it runs without fiction

Senator Chukwuka Utazi Supports the bill for an ACT on Prohibition and Protection of person from lynching, Mob Action and Extrajudicial Execution
