Police authorities in Benue State are currently searching for a man suspected to have of killed his father, Baba Otobi, in Agatu Local Government Area of the state.
This was disclosed on Facebook by a user, Kate Agada Brooks. She attached the lifeless picture of the old man lying on the ground.
According to witnesses, a heated argument erupted between the suspect and his father, culminating in a violent confrontation.
The suspect reportedly fled the scene immediately after the incident, and authorities are working to locate and arrest him.
Meanwhile, police is yet to release specific details on what led to the altercation or any prior disputes between the father and son.
Investigators have urged anyone with useful information on the suspect’s whereabouts to contact the police as they seek to bring closure to the bereaved family and the wider community.
